On a recent trip to GNC, I asked my husband to pick me up a couple of the Quest Protein Bars because I have heard so much about them and never tried one before..........

He picked me up the Cookies and Cream and S'mores flavor and cost about $2.79 a piece.  For me, I used this as a snack but many people use these bars as snacks, meal replacements, pre or post workout supplement, and etc.  The first bar that I tried was the Cookies and Cream Bar:

From Quest Nutrition:

Out of the two bars, this one was my favorite.  There are cookie and cream chucks throughout the bar and the bar was soft and creamy.  It wasn't thick, which sometimes for some protein/nutrition bars, makes it very hard to chew and not enjoyable.  It was pretty filling and satisfied my sweet craving.

The second bar I tried was the S'more bar.  It was pretty good but not as good as the cookies and cream bar.  Just like the other bar, this one was soft and chewy and also had chocolate chucks throughout the bar.

From Quest Nutrition:

"Toasty-sweet marshmallow, rich chocolate and crisp graham cracker layered together in this melt-in-your-mouth, campfire classic. Plus with 20g of protein and only 1g sugar per bar it's the first s'more you can enjoy"

My final thoughts are that these are pretty good protein bars with great flavors (but I can only speak on the two flavors that I tried)  They both satisfied my sweet tooth, kept me full longer, and had a good amount of protein in both bars.  The only thing that is kind of a con with these bars are the price.  They are good bars but I have paid for other protein/nutrition bars that has tasted just as great for a lot cheaper (and some has been less than a dollar for a single bar).

Overall, I would recommend trying them out if you are at GNC or another Sport/Nutrition store.  If not, you can find many alternatives at other stores that is cheaper and easier to find.
