The Wrap Up: Restarting 10K Training (Week 1)

To start off my fitness journey for 2017, I went back to my running training that I started last year with the Fitness 22 10K Runner app.  I am starting all the way over with the training plan and started on January 2nd..........



I have to say that it felt good to be back running again and working on my endurance.  For two of my runs, I went to a nearby park and run on the trail (which felt good being back outside with nature) but for my third run, I went to the gym because the temperature drop (to about 30 something degrees) and the cold and me don't mix:


But I am happy to say that I completed all of my runs for the week:

Since I do my runs on Monday - Wednesday, for the rest of the week, I started a new workout program from Beachbody called Core De Force:

It's a new kickboxing program with the focus being on building up your core strength.  I only done two workouts from the program (I did MMA Speed twice and Dynamic Strength once) but I plan to add more of the routines into my running training.

As for my meal plans, I haven't ate out once (a big pat on the back for me) and have been cooking all of my meals at home.  I am not doing any type of diet plan but just eating in moderation.  Here is an example of "What I Eat in a Week":

(Waffles, Scrambled Eggs, Toast, Grits, Coffee, Water)
(Fruit Smoothie, Protein Smoothie, and Shrimp and Grits)
(Shrimp and Grits, Chili Cheese Dogs, Baked Fish, Steak Quesadilla)
And last but not least, I wanted to make myself more accountable this year with my fitness and overall health.  So I decided to start making fitness vlogs on YouTube so I can show what exactly I will be doing to get back in shape and share other things that is fitness and beauty related:
