1st Impression: Dolce & Gabbana Passion Eyes Mascara

Let me start by saying that I apologize for not posting for a couple of days but I went on a mini vacation (will talk about that a little more during my "Wrap Up" post) but I back on the grind now :) ..........
So let me start by giving you my first impression of the Dolce and Gabbana Passion Eyes Duo (Curl and Volume) Mascara.  I received this as a deluxe sample with my recent order from Sephora (I used a code during my checkout to receive the mascara for free but I think the code is now expired) which is about 0.09 Fl Oz and I received the color Nero 1 (Black):

According to Dolce & Gabbana website:

Transform your lashes with Dolce&Gabbana Passioneyes Duo Mascara. A flexible, lightweight formula and tailored brush deliver impeccably curled lashes and spectacular volume for a truly mesmerizing look.

For women seeking impeccably curled lashes with bold volume.

- Two-in-one curling and volumising mascara
- Tapioca polymers help hold lashes in place
- Glycerine helps condition lashes and creates incredible curl
- Curved brush coats and curls lashes with precision
- No need for a lash curler
- Buildable formula enables different looks
- Fragrance-free
- Available in 3 opulent shades.

When I used this product, I noticed the product went on smooth and the product was creamy but not thick. It separated my lashes evenly and it did lengthen and curl my lashes. I didn't experience any clumps or flakes and also didn't have any smudges while wearing this mascara.  The brush wand was also easy to use and very light:

The only con that I can find with this product is the price.  Even though I received this deluxe sample for free, I looked up the price for the actually full size product on Sephora website and it was $29.50.  I feel that use can find many mascaras that does the same thing (and some that even does a better job) for a lot cheaper.  If you have the money and don't mind the price, I would recommend this for you but if this price is a little steep for you, you can definitely find another mascara that can do the same job (and even some drug store brands - the one that pops up in my mind is the Covergirl Super Sizer Mascara that can compete with this).
