Food Finds: Think Thin Salted Caramel Bar

Back in June, I was in Walmart trying to find something to eat during my lunch break at work and came across this bars in the Health and Pharmacy area..........

I picked this up as a healthy snack to eat with my lunch (instead of getting some type of candy) and what caught my eye was the flavor, the cost (I believe it was just about $2.00) and it only being 150 calories.

On the Think Thin website:

10g protein, 5g fiber and only 150 calories make a delicious snack on-the-go anytime. Mouth-watering flavors to satisfy your snack craving with just the right amount of protein to hold you over. Gluten Free.
The Salted Caramel Bar:

Bite into smooth caramel covered in dark chocolate, with a crispy salty finish. A dreamy experience at 150 calories.

This bar was pretty tasty and I did enjoy it for a snack.  I tasted more chocolate than caramel (but I love chocolate) and it did satisfy my sweet tooth.  It really didn't keep me full so I would not recommend eating this as a meal replacement but you do get a good amount of protein and fiber in one serving.  The Walmart that I went to only had this flavor but when I checked their website, they have many others flavors that you can choose from (Pumpkin Spice and Cinnamon Bun White Chocolate for example).

So for my final thought, I would say try it if you are looking for a healthy snack, protein bar, or a subsitute for a candy bar.  One thing I should point out is that if you are looking for a all natural or vegan snack bar then this is not the bar for you.
