#FitFriday 12.11.15

I hope that everyone is having a great Friday and getting ready for a wonderful weekend..........

Now I usually post a #FitFriday workout to kick off the weekend but today I decided to change it up and talk about the other important factor with fitness..........Food!

So today, I want to talk about a mini Grocery haul that I did with making some simple substitutions for a healthier lifestyle:

I picked up:

Silk Vanilla Almond Milk
Silk Dark Chocolate Almond Milk
Cherub Tomatoes
Bolthouse Farms Yogurt Ranch Dressing
Margaret Holmes Seasoned Cabbage
Margaret Holmes Field Peas and Snaps
Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar
Red Grapes
Velveeta Whole Grain Rotini and Cheese
Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon Bits

I'm cutting down on my dairy (due to my acne prone skin) so I picked up some Almond Milk instead of regular milk for my protein shakes and cereal.  I also been craving some salad, so I picked up some spinach instead of iceberg lettuce and also got some yogurt ranch dressing which is a little healthier (and has less calories) than regular ranch.

And I know canned vegetables is not the best choice but I love these vegetables from Margaret Holmes....and I guess these are better than no veggies at all, LOL.

I also picked up some fruit instead of my regular snacks (and I still have some Peppermint Oreos from the last time I went grocery shopping) and picked up some Velveeta Mac and Cheese made with whole grain (this had less calories compared to the regular Velveeta Mac and Cheese).

Well, this was my mini grocery haul for this week and I may start adding this type post to my "#FitFriday" type post just to show everyone of what I have been eating and to keep me accountable.

What are some Healthy Food Substitutions did you do this week?  Let me know in the comments below........
