1st Impression: Colourpop Cosmetics KaePop Collection

**Please note that I didn't buy the whole collection.......I will pick up the other pieces at a later date.**

For today's first impression review, I am going to discuss some pieces that I really wanted out of the Colourpop "KaePop" collection:

The KaePop collection as a whole comes with 4 eyeshadows, 3 lipliners, 3 liquid lipsticks, 1 bronzer, 1 blush, and 1 highlighter.  I wasn't interested in the eyeshadows, the bronzer, or the blush but I plan to pick up the lipliners and the "Chi" liquid lipstick in the near future (and I'm kicking myself that I didn't get the "Chi" shade when I originally ordered.......)

For a little History on ColourPop:

"ColourPop was born, raised and made with love in the City of Angels (aka Los Angeles) so we can react quickly to the latest and greatest trends and get them in your fabulous hands stat.

We take the phrase “if you can dream it, you can do it” to a whole new level and specialize in making killer makeup in every shade imaginable at prices everyone can afford. We think that whole barrier between fancy and affordable is absolute nonsense. That’s why all of our products have luxury formulas at prices that won’t break the bank."

The one product that I was the most excited of try from this collection was the "Glo Up" highlighter.  It is a beautiful golden copper shade that works wonderful for my skin tone (I think this highlighter is very beautiful for Black Women).  It is very creamy (almost like butter) and it applied so smoothly on my skin. It gives off a pretty but natural glow and I am in love with this highlighter.  This highlighter cost $8.00 and can be purchased on the ColourPop website (and I recommend you add this to your collection):

The next thing that I picked up from the KaePop collection was her Ultra Matte Lipsticks in "Kae" and "Rooch".  I really don't know why I didn't pick up "Chi" (I guess I thought it wouldn't work for my skin tone) but yes, it will be added in my makeup collection pretty soon:

The "Kae" lipstick is a chocolatey brown shade and "Rooch" is a reddish, wine mixed with brown shade (both are deep, warm colors).  Both of these shades looks lovely on my skin and I can wear these colors all year long.  These liquid lipsticks can be a little drying so I use a small amount of lip balm before I added these on my lips.  They dry pretty fast, doesn't transfer easily, and lasted all day for me.  The Ultra Matte Lipsticks cost $6.00 each and can be purchased on the ColourPop website:

And let's not forget the swatches:

For the price and the formulation of these products, I definitely recommend the products that I have listed.
