Les Mills On Demand Subscription Review

Since my last fitness update, I have finished my own personal fitness challenges with doing 4 different Beachbody programs (Turbo Fire, Les Mills Combat, Core De Force, and Cize) in 4 weeks and after I was done, I started to research the next thing that I wanted to do..........

At first, I was going to do the Beachbody On Demand service but I realized that I was kind of burnt out of doing their programs and between me and my husband, we already had a lot of their DVDs at home.  So I began to search other fitness services that I could try and ran across Les Mills On Demand Subscription Service:

I am not a stranger when it comes to Les Mills since I have done 2 of their workout programs (Les Mills Combat and Les Mills Pump) when it was a part of Beachbody but I wanted to see what their other programs were about.  It's a subscription service (I pay $12.99 a month) that allows me to access their workout classes from home.  I did the 10-day free trail to see what it was about and it had me hooked.  They have classes ranging from Strength Training to Dance to HIIT.....to everything you could think of.  Here is an example of some of their classes:

(Example of Classes)
List of Workout Classes (Workouts are between 20 -60 minutes):

-Body Attack
-Body Balance
-Body Flow
-Body Combat
-Body Pump
-Body Step
-Les Mills Grit
-Les Mills Dance
-Les Mills Training
-Cooldown series

Since I have been working out at home (haven't returned to the gym yet), this has been perfect for me and it's nice to see a difference in trainers and workout classes to keep me motivated.  When I workout at home, I can access through my Roku device (Les Mills On Demand App) and get started pretty quickly.  I have also access my workouts through my Laptop (MacBook Air) which comes in handy when I do it in my bedroom (will explain this later on in my post):

One thing that I will mention is that with some programs, you will have to use equipment with the classes (resistance bands, weights, step bench, and etc.......you will need an at home stationary bike in order to do RPM unless you use it at a gym).  I have most of the equipment at home already from using other past programs and sub in my free weights when I do Body Pump (this program uses a barbell).  Overall, I do love the programs that I have done so far and I always get a great burn from their workouts.  Also, I really love the fact that they have someone modifying some of the moves just in case you are not ready for the intense workout moves:

With the Les Mills On Demand service, you can access this from your TV (SAMSUNG SMART TV, APPLE TV, AMAZON FIRE TV), TV Device (ROKU, CHROMECAST), Console: XBOX360, from your phone or tablet (IPHONE, IPAD, ANDROID, KINDLE FIRE), and from your computer.  This is a streaming service so you must a good internet in order for the service to work properly.

So here is my only con with this service.....if you noticed above where I mention where you can access it from.......for the console, it is only available on the XBOX360.  I also mentioned before that when I workout in my bedroom, I have to use my laptop because I do not have a Roku device in my bedroom.  The reason why is that I have a Playstation 4 in my bedroom and the On Demand service is not available on the Playstation network (which really sucks) but they say they are working on it........other than that, it's a good subscription service.

Overall, I do like it and I really enjoy the workout classes.  Like I mentioned before, it's $12.99 per month, which for me isn't that bad when I compared it to some gym memberships in my area.  I would recommend this to anyone who loves working out at home and is looking for variety in their workouts since they offer many options.
