Day 1 of my 30 Day Yoga Challenge


So last night officially kicked off the 1st day of the 30 Day Yoga Challenge and I had to mentally prepare myself to actually do it since I don't like doing Yoga...........

With a little push from my daughters I(because my oldest daughter wanted to do it too) I pressed play and did it.  To my surprise, it wasn't too bad and I loved how the instructor explained the moves and talked you through them.  It wasn't any music playing in the background but I didn't mind.  I plan on listening to my own calming music during the next workout to help me relax more.  I also loved the fact it was only about 12 minutes long but I left great after doing it.  My body felt relaxed and my legs feel a lot better today since I did some squats from the day before.  With this workout, it's basically an introduction of the basic yoga moves (like downward dog, warrior 1, and etc) and for some of the moves, she recommends using a pillow, blanket, or towel to help make you comfortable if you are not flexible yet.  Overall I liked it and it didn't kill me, LOL:
